Carlos Acosta Soria

Born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in 1981, Acosta qualified as an engineer at ETSICCP in Santander.

In 2006, Acosta Soria began his professional career as a project designer at the engineering firm Análisis Ingenieros, where he participated in about twenty projects over the course of two years.

Following this first professional experience as a project designer, he worked for two years at the construction company Dragados S.A. in maritime works, until August 2009, in the technical department then as production manager.

He founded the sole proprietorship in his own name during this time.

In August 2009, he accepted an offer from FCC Construcción to manage the technical office for the construction of a motorway section in Gran Canaria. His work on this project lasted until July 2013. He then left FCC and became a shareholder of the company Técnicas y Montajes Subacuáticos S.L., where he held the position of Technical Director and was a member of its board of directors until April 2015.

Since October 2013 he has been a member of the Governing Board of the Civil Engineers Association of Las Palmas. Since April 2015 he has represented this group as a member of the Eastern Technical Committee of the Cotmac.

He currently directs ACOSTASUB, supported by a multidisciplinary team of excellent professionals with university education, all of whom have qualified as professional divers.
